**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements related to **Duck Creek Policy** implementation or enhancement projects.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for changes in business processes or system functionality.
- Work closely with Duck Creek developers, QA, and configuration teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, JAD sessions, and design walkthroughs.
- Create and maintain user stories, use cases, process flows, and requirement traceability matrices.
- Support testing teams in the development of test plans and test cases; participate in UAT and defect triaging.
- Ensure the alignment of delivered solutions with business goals and compliance standards.
- Provide training, documentation, and support to business users and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
**Required Qualifications & Skills**:
- **
5 to 7 years** of experience as a **Business Analyst** in the **Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance** domain.
- Minimum of 4** years** of hands-on experience with the **Duck Creek Policy** platform.
- Strong understanding of **insurance product configuration**, rating, rules, forms, and workflows in Duck Creek.
- Experience in **Agile/Scrum** and **Waterfall** project methodologies.
- Excellent skills in **business process modeling**, requirement elicitation, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong knowledge of **SQL** and ability to analyze and interpret data for decision-making.
- Experience using tools like **JIRA, Confluence, Visio**, and **Microsoft Office Suite**.
- Familiarity with integration approaches (web services, APIs) and Duck Creek architecture is a plus.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Duck Creek certification(s) (Policy Author, BA Track, etc.)
- Experience in **policy administration system migration** or **legacy system transformation** projects.
- Knowledge of ISO-based products and regulatory compliance in P&C insurance.
**Soft Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
