At Satheesh Balaji Matriculation Higher Secondary School, we highly value the relationship we have with the students, the parents and the local community. We are currently seeking a Front Office Executive with an adequate experience in the field to help us nurture and enrich these relationships in our school and beyond.
**Essential Skillset required for the role**:
- **Excellent Communication Skills**: The ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, is crucial. The staff member must be articulate, warm, and able to convey information effectively to diverse audiences.
- **Customer Service Orientation**: A strong focus on providing exceptional service to potential parents and other visitors, with the ability to handle concerns, questions, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- **Organizational Skills**: The ability to manage multiple tasks, keep accurate records, and ensure that all follow-ups are done in a timely manner.
- **Knowledge of School Policies and Procedures**: A comprehensive understanding of the school’s admission process, academic programs, extracurricular activities, and general policies to answer questions accurately.
- **Problem-Solving Abilities**: The capability to address issues or challenges that arise, whether related to admissions or other inquiries, and find effective solutions quickly.
- **Technological Proficiency**: Familiarity with office software, admissions management systems, and communication tools to handle inquiries and admissions processes efficiently.
- **Professional Appearance and Demeanor**: As the first point of contact, maintaining a professional and approachable appearance is important for setting the tone for visitors.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ensuring that all information provided to potential parents is accurate and that all steps in the admissions process are followed correctly.
**Responsibilities**:
- Write, edit and review all media content such as brochures, pamphlets and prospectuses. Digital Marketing experience is a BONUS
- Handle any PR related issue that may arise.
- Maintain good relationships with media houses, staffs, parents and the local community in general.
- Focus on marketing the school through partnerships and advertising.
- Keep up with media and audience opinions regularly.
- Study PR trends and use best practices.
- Regularly submit PR reports
- Liaising with vendors, authorities and officers.
**Requirements to meet before applying**:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, BBA or MBA.
- Prior experience with media or public relations.
- Experience with PR campaigns and media management.
- Excellent writing, oral presentation and communication skills.
- Competent knowledge of computers and writing software (MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel etc.).
- A strong presence of mind and analytical skill and have a keen attention to detail.
- The ability to remain calm minded in a sometimes stressful environment.
