We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Student Counsellor to join our team at The Shri Ram Universal School - Hyderabad.

**Key Responsibilities:

- **
- Provide one-on-one counselling to students to help them deal with personal, emotional, and academic issues.
- Offer guidance on coping with stress, anxiety, depression, peer pressure, family issues, and other psychological concerns.
- Maintain a confidential and supportive environment for students to express themselves freely.
- Handling walk-in and referral cases.
- Conduct group counselling sessions on topics such as stress management, study skills, time management, peer relationships, and career planning.
- Facilitate workshops and seminars on mental health awareness, stress management, and self-esteem.
- Assist students in setting academic goals and developing strategies to overcome learning challenges.
- Collaborate with vice-principals, coordinators, class teachers and parents to support students who may be struggling academically or emotionally.
- Provide guidance on exam stress and ways to improve study habits.
- Attending the classroom observation sessions.
- Conducting EQUBE Sessions for developing moral values.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss the mental & emotional well-being of their children.
- Provide resources and strategies for parents to support their child's emotional development at home.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding the progress of students receiving counselling support.
- Provide immediate support and intervention in cases of student crises, such as bullying, self-harm, or any other distressing situation.
- Work closely with school management and external professionals when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that prioritizes emotional well-being, mental health, and holistic development.
- Encourage healthy student relationships, conflict resolution, and empathy within the school community.
- Conducting safety clubs activities.
- Stay updated with the latest counselling techniques, mental health trends, and educational best practices.
- Participate in relevant training, workshops, and conferences to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Planning the goals and working on the same.
- Keep confidential records of student counselling sessions, observations, and progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of referrals, action plans, and any incidents that require further intervention.\

**Requirements:

- **
- Master’s in Psychology, Counseling, or related fields.
- Certifications in school Counseling (preferable) or specialized training in career guidance.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in student counseling, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Experience in dealing with diverse student populations and handling a variety of issues, including academic, emotional, and personal challenges.

**Salary**: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
