Job Title: Housekeeping Cleaner cum Room Attendant

Department: Housekeeping

**Location: SYMPHONY GROUP OF HOTEL & RESORTS**

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas. Ensures a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests by delivering high standards of housekeeping service.

**Key ResponsibilitiesRoom Cleaning & Maintenance**
- Enter and prepare guest rooms for cleaning
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels
- Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors
- Replenish room amenities (toiletries, water bottles, stationery, etc.)
- Ensure proper arrangement of furniture and décor

**Public Area & Corridor Maintenance**
- Clean and sanitize hallways, elevators, and service areas
- Maintain cleanliness in staff and guest restrooms

**Guest Interaction & Support**
- Respond promptly to guest requests (e.g., extra towels, pillows)
- Maintain guest privacy and room security
- Report lost and found items to the housekeeping office

**Operational Duties**
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols while handling chemicals
- Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, faulty appliances)
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled (e.g., steam cleaning carpets)

**Requirement Details**
- Education High school diploma preferred
- Experience Prior housekeeping experience is an advantage
- Physical Stamina Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
- Attention to Detail High standards of cleanliness and order
- Communication Skills Basic English or local language proficiency for guest interactionTeamworkAbility to work independently and as part of a team
