-We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong Cloud and Engineering Transformation background to join our Agile & DevOps Practice because we are experiencing tremendous growth.
-As a part of this role, you will be responsible for,
Support and guide our clients on their Agile and DevOps journey
- Help our clients understand and adopt Agile ways of working
- Guide and facilitate client’s DevOps and Engineering transformation across the enterprise and drive increased maturity, including but not limited to, governance, controls, organizational alignment, tools, technology and processes.
- Be responsible for end to end deployment and support cycle
- Train new engineers joining the team and ensure highest level of software practices
To be successful in this role, you must have,
Minimum of 5-7 Years’ experience in IT with at least 3-5 years of hands-on DevOps experience
- Mandatory experience of DevOps in Cloud technologies such as AWS. Azure, GCP, and OpenShift will be a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum
- Excellent knowledge of working with DevOps tools such as - Ansible, Puppet, Bamboo, Jira, BitBucket/GitLab, Maven, Cradle, SonarQube, Coverity, Artifactory etc.
- Experience automating across all areas of the value chain of software and into production environments using tools such as Bamboo or Jenkins
- Expertise in Container technologies such as Docker and associated orchestration engines like Kubernetes.
- Exposure to microservices technologies such as SpringBoot
- Good understanding of Agile and DevOps ways of working - CI/CD pipeline, Software defined infra, App and Infra monitoring, test data management
- Experience in JAVA, Node.JS (REST APIs), Scripting Languages (Shell, Python, Perl, Ruby).
- Hands-on experience with Virtualization Technologies VM’s and Docker containers and Confluence, JIRA and DevOps tools.
- Strong Developer / Programming background across various environments including AWS, Terraform, Ansible and Puppet
- Ability to deliver high quality engineering practices and guidance across the SDLC and into production environments
- Self-organizing and motivated with ability to work within often ambiguous and dynamic environments
It would be nice if you have any extra skills such as,
Excellent presentation, communication skills, negotiations, conflict resolution and ability to effectively engage at Executive and board level
- A proactive and entrepreneurial working style and persuasion capabilities
- Experience in setting clear objectives and direction for large distributed teams in a highly dynamic environment involving onshore/offshore staffing model.
- Ability to facilitate executive workshops and obtain consensus among concerned stakeholders.
- Exposure working with international clients and large environments
