The Sec & Derivatives Mgr is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to process orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of securities and derivatives transactions. **About the role**: The role is part of the Derivatives Operations Unit within Treasury Operations and requires a good understanding of Futures, Options, Swaps, Interest Rate Derivatives, and Exchange Traded Products and their regulatory framework. The unit comprises of functions such as Authorization of trades, Margining, Confirmations, Documentations and Settlements. The role requires stringent adherence to controls and regulatory requirements at all times. **Key responsibilities include**: **Competencies**: - Strong execution orientation with a proven and demonstrated track record of results in the management and transformation of Product capabilities. - Proven ability to manage, partner and drive complex projects with internal technology departments and/or third-party vendors - Adept client and internal negotiation skills to be used in the delivery of client solutions. - Impeccable detail orientation and focus on superior quality deliverables with an ability to set deadlines and consistently achieve them. - People management experience and consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skill This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
