**Role Overview**:
As a **Production Manager**, you will be the cornerstone of our manufacturing unit, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality output. You will lead our production team with a sharp focus on CNC and VMC machining processes, driving efficiency, productivity, and adherence to stringent aerospace standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Planning & Management**:

- Develop and execute production schedules to meet delivery timelines and quality expectations.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including CNC and VMC machines, manpower, and materials.
- **Machine Shop Operations**:

- Oversee day-to-day operations in the machine shop, ensuring smooth functioning of CNC and VMC machines.
- Implement and monitor maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Maintain strict adherence to aerospace quality standards, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Collaborate with the quality team to ensure defect-free production and compliance with customer requirements.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve performance targets and maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular training programs to enhance technical skills and efficiency.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify areas for process improvements, implement lean manufacturing principles, and drive cost optimization.
- Keep abreast of the latest manufacturing trends and incorporate innovative technologies.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Track and report key production metrics, including efficiency, downtime, and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine performance, and inventory.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 10 to 15 years of experience in manufacturing, with a strong focus on CNC and VMC machining.
- Proven track record in managing machine shop operations in the aerospace or precision engineering industry.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and programming.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning tools.
- Familiarity with aerospace standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
