The Housekeeping Supervisor works closely with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Team Supervision**: Lead, train, and motivate a team of housekeepers, room attendants, and other cleaning staff. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- ** Quality Control**: Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with hotel standards. Address any deficiencies and take corrective actions when necessary.
- ** Scheduling Staffing**: Manage daily schedules for housekeeping staff, ensuring adequate coverage for guest check-ins, check-outs, and busy periods. Coordinate with HR or management to recruit and onboard new staff.
- ** Inventory Management**: Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping materials. Order supplies as needed and ensure proper storage and usage of products.
- ** Guest Interaction**: Address guest requests, complaints, and concerns regarding cleanliness and room conditions. Ensure prompt resolution and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- ** Training Development**: Conduct ongoing training sessions for housekeeping staff, ensuring they are up-to-date on hotel policies, cleaning procedures, and safety standards.
- ** Health Safety Compliance**: Ensure all cleaning practices adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and maintaining a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- ** Collaboration**: Work with the front desk and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests in a timely manner. Report maintenance issues to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- ** Performance Monitoring**: Evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any issues or concerns.
- ** Cost Control**: Help control costs related to cleaning supplies, linens, and other department resources. Monitor labor costs and strive for efficient use of resources without compromising quality.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- ** Experience**: Proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning services, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Previous experience in hospitality or hotels is preferred.
