110kv Operator

A 110kV operator, or substation operator, manages and runs an electrical substation to ensure that customers can safely use electricity. Their responsibilities include:

- **Operating equipment**: Controlling equipment like circuit breakers, voltage transformers, and current converters
- **Monitoring equipment**: Inspecting, maintaining, and monitoring equipment performance
- **Responding to issues**: Responding to alarms or abnormalities, and coordinating with control centers and field teams to resolve issues
- **Reporting data**: Reporting data on device operation to the load dispatcher
- **Maintaining safety**: Adhering to safety and hygiene regulations
- **Performing maintenance**: Performing necessary adjustments and repairs
- **Maintaining protection systems**: Maintaining protection systems for substations and power generating stations
- **Preparing inspection reports**: Preparing inspection reports and forwarding them to the concerned authorities
