We are hiring Freight Broker for our logistic company (GPRS Logistics) in Mohali with following requirements

**Desired Skills and Experience**

Customer Interaction, Customer Relationship, Customer Service

Need to assists shippers in moving shipments from the point of origin to their destinations by employing the service of carrier companies. In essence, the freight broker helps the shipper to find carriers for the transportation of goods.

The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.Generating leads and attracting new prospects, and developing a sales pipeline.

**Roles, Responsibilities, Requirements and skills**

1. Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services.

2. Maintain current clients, generate leads and attract new prospects and develop a sales pipeline.

3. Acquire new business through prospecting, cold calling, etc. Contract with freight shipping carriers and negotiate the best rates and services for our customers.

4. Selling our logistics services to meet their transportation needs and requirements.

5. Following up clients to ensure goods picked up, delivered on time in order to give good customer service.

6. Looking after the closures on shipments, payments received, overdues etc.

7. Adding new business for the company and retention of existing customers.

8. Act as the link between clients, carriers, shippers and receivers.

9. Keeping accurate records of relevant activities.

10. Updating customers on the status of shipments, and assisting with other inquiries.

11. Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in transportation marketplace.

12. Generating Leads by contacting new Shippers and attracting new prospects and developing a sales pipeline.

13. Able to do data mining and cold calling on Shippers’ data.

14. Providing Shippers with shipping quotes

15. Booking orders with shippers.

16. Collaborating with Shippers for daily, weekly, and monthly orders.

17. Follow-up with Shippers to get business from Shippers.

18. Negotiating the best shipping rates.

19. Handling paperwork and compliance requirements.

**Salary**: ₹15,788.79 - ₹34,359.83 per month
