**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation and Maintenance**:

- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, lighting, and control systems.
- Ensure that all electrical installations comply with national and local codes.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- **Troubleshooting and Repairs**:

- Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Identify and resolve issues in electrical circuits, wiring, and systems to ensure proper functionality.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to identify potential hazards and recommend solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Prepare and maintain records detailing work performed, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and material usage.
- Report to supervisors or project managers on the status of electrical systems and any issues that need addressing.
- Provide clients with detailed explanations of work performed and any additional recommendations.
- **Client Interaction**:

- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice on electrical solutions.
- Offer excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other team members, including contractors and engineers, to complete projects efficiently.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians and other team members as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed electrician.
- **Licensing**: Valid electrician’s license in the state of Tamil Nadu.
- **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
- **Skills**: Proficient in the use of hand and power tools; strong problem-solving abilities; excellent communication skills.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as necessary.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with specific systems relevant to the job, such as solar power installations, industrial control systems, or building automation systems.
- Additional certifications in specialized areas, such as high-voltage systems or electrical safety.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
