Job Description: Graphic Designer

A graphic designer is a creative professional responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing visual materials that communicate messages effectively. They use their artistic and technical skills to create visual elements for a variety of mediums, such as print, digital, and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conceptualize and design visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts based on client requirements or project objectives.

2. Collaborate with clients, marketing teams, or art directors to understand design briefs and develop design concepts that align with their vision.

3. Create and manipulate images, illustrations, typography, and other visual elements using graphic design software and tools.

4. Select appropriate colors, fonts, images, and layouts to enhance the visual impact and convey the desired message.

5. Prepare and present design proposals or mock-ups to clients or stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions.

6. Develop designs for various mediums, including advertisements, brochures, logos, websites, social media graphics, and packaging.

7. Ensure designs are visually appealing, on-brand, and meet industry standards and best practices.

8. Collaborate with printers, production teams, or developers to ensure proper execution of designs and quality output.

9. Stay updated on industry trends, design software advancements, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design skills.

10. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain effective communication with team members and clients.

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar tools.

2. Strong artistic and creative abilities, with a keen eye for aesthetics, composition, and attention to detail.

3. Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.

4. Knowledge of current design trends and best practices across various mediums.

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively understand and interpret client requirements and work in a team.

6. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

7. Problem-solving skills to address design challenges and find creative solutions.

8. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles (for digital graphic designers).

9. Experience with print production processes and specifications (for print graphic designers).

10. A portfolio showcasing a range of design projects demonstrating technical skills and creative abilities.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Graphic design: 5 years (preferred)
