Principal Cloud Architect

Partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.

**About the Role**:
Our Engineers are deep technical domain experts, who are responsible for both explaining and showing how Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure Solutions solve real-world business challenges. They work closely with field Cloud Architects to help craft the solution and then continue to collaborate with the customer on implementation of these solutions.

**Work Timings**:
Oracle offers flexible ‘work-from-home’ options for our adjusted work shifts of 2PM-11PM IST to accommodate our North American customers and promote work/life balance for all our diverse employees. Since this is a customer-facing role, we need to make sure that there is adequate time overlap with US time zones to be able to effectively communicate & collaborate with our customers and US Oracle teams. We try to keep the morning IST hours free for our employees so that they can take care of personal family matters and Oracle also offers free home pickup/drop-off car services

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, Configure, Deploy and Operate a cloud solution
- Deliver Proof of Concepts for new Solutions on Cloud
- Good written/Verbal Communication, Presentation, Interactive skills with team across geography.
- Flexible to work either independently or work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most efficient cloud-based solutions for the company
- Adaptability to Learn and use groundbreaking technologies
- Collaborate with Customers and internal partners to collect, understand and tackle problems
- Experience in Siebel Migration, upgrade and platform migrations
- Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.
- Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
- Work Closely with Customer and/or Partners to bring Production workload on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.

**Preferred Qualifications/Primary Skills**:

- Extensive experience working on at least one Public Cloud - Oracle/AWS/Azure/Google
- Certificated in Public Cloud - Oracle/AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Certified Architect Professional
- Experience working with Cloud platforms in either a consulting or engineering role and interested in taking up a technical pre-sales and delivery role
- Expertise in architecting best technical solutions based on customer requirement
- Experience giving presentations to executive audiences and explaining the benefits of the platform and service solution over competitors
- Proficient in Siebel Installation, Administration and Maintenance.
- Experience in Siebel Repository Migration, dev2prod, Migration Application.
- Performed end-to-end Siebel Implementations and upgrades (from IP13/14/15/16 etc) especially to versions IP 2017+
- Setting up Siebel CRM for Disaster Recovery and High availability.
- Knowledge in Siebel Configuration, Scripting and Workflows is a plus
- Knowledge in Siebel's data model.
- Experience with CTI implementation, Siebel EIM and EAI.
- Technical lead for engagements such as Proof of Concepts and Architectural Design Sessions to define and design a complete solution using best practices on Oracle Cloud
- They should have managed Run & Maintain for Production Customers and their Day to day Siebel Administrative tasks
- Experience in Oracle Weblogic, Cross platform migration

**Education and Certification**:

- A Bachelor or Master’s in computer science, or equivalent related technical field
