**Associate - Operations & Governance**

**About Smile Foundation**:
Sustainability, social equality and the environment are now business problems. And corporate leaders can't depend on governments to solve them. Inspired by this philosophy of Peter Senge, a group of young corporate professionals came together in 2002 to set up Smile Foundation to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, their families and communities.

**Position**: Associate - Operations & Governance

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Working with Head Finance & Governance to understand, facilitate governance related tasks, board resolutions, working with Board of Trustees etc
- Working with Executive Director - responsible of planning and conducting the meetings related to compliance and governance - Monthly meetings, Executive committee Meetings (quarterly) and other meetings as required
- Preparing agenda, attending the meetings and understanding the discussion, framing minutes and sharing with concerned departments, following up on the progress - Managing end to end process for strategic activities
- Will be working with senior leaders/ HOD for coordination and follow up for meetings and strategic activities
- Coordinate with Executive Trustee for offical work as required
- Custodian of Policies and Procedures - Coordinating with IPR lawyer for various IPR activities

**Qualifications**
- Education: BBA/ MBA from a good B School
- Should have passion for working in social sector
- Willing to learn and unlearn
- Should have good written and oral communication
- Should be good at MS office
- Prior experience in coordination, MIS, project management and analysis.

**Functional Area**: Operations
**Desired work experience**: 2 to 5 years, Experience of working in development sector is a plus
**Education**: BBA, MBA
**Technical**: MS excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word, Tally, ERP.
