**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Produce 3D models in Smartplant 3D or Revit or Advanced steel and generate the 2D drawings from 3D model.
- Prepare the 2D drawings using AutoCAD or Microstation.
- Develop the 2D drawings of structure/foundation plans, sections, elevations as per engineer design sketches.
- Develop the details as per engineer design.
- Prepare the material take-off from the drawings.
- Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts.
- Other duties as applicable.

**Skills and Knowledge Required**:

- Thorough knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted office procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret map and land survey.
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD, Microstation, Smartplant 3D.
- Familiar to Canadian and USA structural design standards.
- Experience in Revit or advanced Steel is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to maintain confidential information critical.
- Ability to work independently and collaboration with other disciplines.

**Education and Experience**:

- College certification or BS/BE (preferred but not required) in Civil Engineering specialized on structural engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of design and drafting experience in Structural Engineering.
- Must have experience in 2D and 3D designs for concrete foundation, concrete structure, steel structure.
- Mining industrial plant and facility experience preferred.
