**Job Title**:Material Executive/Expert

Our in-house NABL-accredited and BIS-recognized laboratory offers advanced testing for construction materials, environmental monitoring, food products, and minerals.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Material Analysis**: Conduct mechanical or chemical tests on construction materials to evaluate their performance, durability, and compliance with industry standards.
- **Test Methodology Development**: Develop, implement, and improve testing procedures for evaluating construction materials, including the selection of appropriate methods for mechanical strength, chemical composition, and environmental resistance.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and field technicians to support material selection and testing processes for ongoing projects.
- **Quality Assurance & Compliance**: Ensure all testing and materials analysis complies with safety standards, industry regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Prepare detailed reports on test results, including recommendations, analyses, and technical insights, for internal teams and clients.
- **Training & Mentorship**: Provide technical support and training to junior staff and team members in material testing and analysis.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of [X] years of experience in material testing, analysis, or R&D in the construction industry, with a focus on mechanical and/or chemical properties.
- **Technical Expertise**: Proven expertise in mechanical testing (e.g., tensile, compressive strength, etc) and chemical analysis (e.g., composition, corrosion resistance) of construction materials.
- **Knowledge of Standards**: Familiarity with ASTM, AASHTO, ISO, or other relevant material testing standards.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with experience diagnosing material-related issues and proposing practical solutions.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating clear, technical reports and presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- **Software Skills**: Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD, or other material testing/analysis software).
- **Certifications**: Professional certifications in materials testing (e.g., ACI, NACE, or similar) are a plus but not required.
