Job Overview:
Mechanical Draftsman role is to prepare drawings using CAD software. Gaining entry level skill and know-how of mechanical static equipment like Pressure vessel, Heat exchanger, Vaporizer via execution experience

**Responsibilities**:
**Essential Functions/Responsibilities**
- Preparation of detailed fabrication drawing for the Pressure vessel with bill of Material.
- Preparation of GA drawing and parts drawing of pressure vessel.
- Preparation of Plate Cutting layout and cutting program with Waterjet machine software.
- Preparation of Weld Plan based on fabrication drawing.
- Preparation of document distribution transmittal, Master list and other document.
- Prepare Bill of Material for Pressure vessel and ERP entry of BOM.
- Release all the design drawings to the concern department for further process.
- Update and revise drawing and prepare sketches as per requirement.
- Maintain the drawings documents and records as per company requirement.
- Responsible for maintaining record for design change.
- Maintain ASME, ISO and IMS documentation for design department.
- Knowledge of Pressure vessel, vaporizer, heat exchanger, piping and drafting in 2D software.
- Hands on experience for working on 2d (AutoCad) & 3d (Inventor/Solid works) software
- Experience in industrial (oil & gas) design/drafting.
- Follow department workflow for Timesheet, Task planning update and EHS policy.
- Passion for learning, ability to work with minimum supervision, attention to detail, self-checking and improvement.
- Self-motivated for learning and helping others.

**Authorities**:

- Drawing/sketch/read lines & BOM preparation.
- Hold mark on shop floor

**Supervisory Responsibility**

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

**Work Environment**

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

**Physical Demands**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Qualifications:
**Education, Experience and Skills**
- ITI (draftsman) 3 to 4 years / Diploma (Mechanical) 2 to 3 year relevant experience.
- Knowledge of drafting Pressure Vessel, Vaporizer, Heat exchanger drawing will be preferred.
- Proficient in drafting using 2d (AutoCad) & 3d (Inventor/Solid works) software.
