**Roles and Responsibility**

Job Title: Data Architect

Experience: 10 to 14 Years

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years of professional experience in Data Management, Information Systems and other BI-related fields is required.
- +2 years of data architect experience.
- +1 year of public cloud developments
- Experience with Incorta and Oracle Cloud
- Experience with Data Modeler tool.
- Experience working as a member of distributed data architecture teams (on premise or cloud)
- Experience with enterprise data management technologies, including database platforms, ETL tools, and SQL.
- Strong experience with at least one of the following: Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, D3.js and R)

**Responsibilities**:

- Support Lead data architect in revising enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models; creating data models that conform to existing standards and conventions
- Providing leadership and guidance with enterprise data strategies
- Revising data dictionary definitions, governance practices, and standards
- Collaborating with security architects to ensure compliance with data security and privacy mandates.
- Construct and develop Data Architecture solution as Data Warehousing or Data Lakes
- Work in public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google or Oracle) as well as on-premises
- Work with distributed environments (Incorta, HDFS/Hadoop, Spark, etc)
- Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality
- Supervise and develop ETL processes
- Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
- Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
- Improve performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements
- Define dashboards or reports using BI tools as Tableau, Power BI or Qlik is a plus
- Experience in MDM project development is a plus

Required Technical Skills:

- The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:

- Data Architecture Construction and Development
- Data Warehousing and Data Lake Solutions
- Supervise and Develop Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes
- Data Modelling
- Database Architecture Testing

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- Strong JAVA and/or Microsoft.NET C# development skills
- Experience working with Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Connector (BICC) and Universal Content Management (UCM).
- Good communication skills and customer relationship skills
- Knowledge of configuration management and version control processes
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology and concepts.
- Experience working with large non-profit Organizations (UN)
- Knowledge of a second UN language would be an asset.

Desirable certifications:

- Advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in computer science, engineering or other relevant fields.
- Any Data certification as Microsoft Data Certifications, AWS Big Data Specialist, Cloudera, Microsoft Data Management and Analytics, Microsoft Azure Big Data Analytics Solution, Oracle BI Intelligence Foundation Plus or SAS Big Data will be a plus.
- Prince2 Agile, ITIL, SCRUM, etc. certifications preferred
