**About Us**:
HERE AND NOW - The French Institute is assisting a prestigious school in Chennai in their search for dedicated Tamil Teachers to join their team. The school offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum and is committed to providing quality education and fostering holistic development in students.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Tamil language and literature for students following the IGCSE curriculum.

2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student participation, critical thinking, and academic excellence.

3. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and instructional materials to accommodate diverse student needs and learning styles.

4. Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support student learning and growth.

5. Integrate cultural activities, literature, and authentic resources into the curriculum to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of Tamil language and culture.

6. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders to support student learning and holistic development.

**Qualifications**:
**1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tamil language, Literature, Education, or a related field is mandatory.**

**2. Proficiency in conversational English (minimum) is mandatory.**

3. Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Tamil language and literature, preferably in an international school setting.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to maintain an engaging and animated class.

6. Commitment to student-centered learning and academic excellence.
