**Job Overview**:
As a **Counter Salesman**, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our store or showroom. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with product selection, processing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized and well-stocked sales counter. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of the products we sell, and a proactive approach to customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions about products and services.
- Provide recommendations and information about products, features, benefits, and availability to customers.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, including cash, card, or credit sales.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests, resolving issues promptly and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on new arrivals, promotions, and industry trends.
- Assist in managing the sales counter, including stock organization, product displays, and ensuring the counter area is clean and presentable.
- Collaborate with other sales staff to meet sales targets and contribute to team goals.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in reordering products as needed.
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policies.
- Keep records of sales and customer interactions, and report any concerns or issues to the manager.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service (experience in a counter sales role is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and build rapport.
- Basic knowledge of sales processes and product handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve customer issues effectively.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g., POS systems, inventory management).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
