Faculty responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching, conducting research, advising students, participating in conferences, and academic administration:

- The Assistant Professor will be responsible for designing and conducting research projects in the area of HCI, with a specific focus on AR/VR, electronics, and embedded systems. This involves the responsibility of publishing scholarly articles in leading journals and conferences.
- The Assistant Professor will be expected to participate in various academic and administrative activities of the department, such as attending meetings, serving on committees, and contributing to the development of the curriculum and research agenda of the department.
- The Assistant Professor will be responsible for engaging with industry and other external partners to promote research and innovation in the area of HCI.

**Qualifications**:

- A Ph.D. (awarded or nearing submission) in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise and research experience in HCI
- Strong teaching skills and a commitment to excellence in education
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Evidence of scholarly achievement, including publications and grants
