- Purpose of the Job:

- This position is a technical position. The applicant will be involved in setting up & running big data frameworks in AWS environment.
- Domain Knowledge:

- Experience in manufacturing domain an added advantage, however is not a selection criteria
- Duties & Responsibilities:
- Setting up big data Cluster and maintaining them in AWS.
- Capacity planning of Hadoop cluster.
- Cost evaluation & Optimization of cluster.
- Resource & Security Management.
- Backup & Recoveries.
- Manage & review log files.
- Troubleshooting Application issues along with Development team.
- Excellent knowledge of UNIX/LINUX OS.
- Shell scripting.
- Setting up cluster monitoring tools.
- Installing, configuring and supporting Hadoop Ecosystem.
- Propose best practices/standards.

Qualifications:
- BE/BTECH/MTECH from a reputed institute with consistence academic performance.
- 5-8 years of experience in related technologies
- Total 8 - 12 years’ experience

Work experience & Desired Profile:
- ü Hands on setting up & maintaining Hadoop Ecosystem (commercial distribution)
- ü Good Hold on Shell scripting.
- ü Kubernetes Implementations.
- ü Performance tuning and running jobs in cluster.
- ü Cluster Capacity planning.
- ü Monitoring connectivity & Security of Hadoop Cluster.
- ü Management of HDFS/S3 and monitoring them.
- ü Managing and reviewing log files in Hadoop cluster.
- ü Installing Hadoop related updates/Patches as and when required.
- ü Scheduling & Taking Backups.

Personal qualities & behavioural traits:

- Good proficiency in English language. Good communication skills, experience in working with teams at multiple location. Experience in handling stakeholders.
- Desirable qualities or behaviours
- Self-starter and individual contributor role.
