**Job description**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**:

- Maintain and update inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with the inventory management system.
- **Material Handling**:

- Receive, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of delivered materials.
- Organize and store materials in designated areas.
- Issue materials to construction teams as required, ensuring proper documentation.
- **Logistics Coordination**:

- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory, including stock in and out.
- Generate and submit periodic inventory reports to the Site Manager/Project Manager.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure that storage areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Comply with all safety regulations and protocols related to material handling and storage.
- **Communication**:

- Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Address and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies or material shortages.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or storekeeping, preferably in the construction industry.
- **Education**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent. A degree in supply chain management or a related field is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in using inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
