Cake Maker

The Cake Maker is responsible for the execution of the filling and icing of all cakes as well as assisting in decoration of cakes and preparation of recipes for fillings, icings, sponges, etc
- Cut, fill, and ice all layer cakes
- Assist with decoration of layer cakes and desserts
- Prepare a variety of recipes, including baked goods, pastries, betters, cakes, fillings, and icings from start to finish
- Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- Know and comply with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
- Execute a manageable production schedule in order to fulfil preorders and daily production requirements for bakery operations.
- Follow proper presentation and setup for all products.
- Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
- Assist in other related duties or food and bakery prep assignments as assigned by management.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, stove, ovens, freezers, and refrigeration equipment
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products to ensure a smooth production period.
- Measure out ingredients
- Mix/combine ingredients
- Portion foods prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
- Execute all recipes from start to finish
- Prepare items for baking, baking, or cooking methods by portioning, seasoning, or marinating
- Cook items to correct doneness
- Decorate, garnish, portion final product
- Ensure that final products meet exact specifications and high standards required
- Anticipate order volume needs for upcoming production days
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of hygiene and kitchen safety standards and the discipline to enforce those standards

**Salary**: ₹170,900.85 - ₹352,805.60 per year
