**Job Title**: PLC Programmer - Automation Specialist

**Location**: Renault-Nissan Technology and Business Centre India Pvt. Ltd., Chennai
**Experience**: 1-5 Years
**Salary**:

- 1-3 Years: Up to ₹5.3 LPA
- 3-5 Years: Up to ₹6.5 LPA

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **PLC & HMI Programming**:

- Program and configure PLC and HMI systems using tools like **SIEMENS (Step7, TIA Portal, WINCC)**, **Allen Bradley (AB)**, and **Omron**.

**Communication Protocol Implementation**
- Work with protocols such as **Profibus, ProfiNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet, Modbus, and OPC Server** for seamless device integration.

**Electrical Design**
- Design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using tools like **AutoCAD, SEE Electrical**, and **EPLAN Electric**.

**Concept Designs**
- Develop equipment layouts, perform capacity/consumption calculations (400V, 24V), and create wiring/communication layouts.
- Estimate design material requirements accurately.

**Installation and Commissioning**
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of automation equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements.

**Bill of Materials (BOM) Preparation and Controls Design**
- Prepare and manage BOMs for projects and ensure effective controls design.

**Stay Updated with Latest Automation Technologies**

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.
- 1-5 years of experience in PLC programming and automation.
- Proficiency in **SIEMENS, Allen Bradley, and Omron** tools.
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols such as **Profibus, ProfiNet, and Modbus**.
- Expertise in electrical design software like **AutoCAD, SEE Electrical, or EPLAN Electric**.
- Familiarity with concept design and material estimation processes.
- Hands-on experience in equipment installation and commissioning.
