About The Position

Must Have Skills
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, principles, and architectures.
- Extensive experience with Azure services, including:

- Compute (Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, ARM Templates)
- Storage (Blob Storage, Azure Files, Azure Disks)
- Networking (Virtual Network, Load Balancer, Azure DNS, Azure Firewall)
- Databases (Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB)
- Security (Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault)
- Monitoring and logging (Azure monitor, Azure log analytics)
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Azure Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.

Roles and Responsibilities

**Cloud Strategy and Design**:

- Develop and maintain cloud architecture blueprints, standards, and best practices.
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure Azure solutions.
- Define cloud governance policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain documentation of cloud architecture and design.

**Implementation and Deployment**:

- Lead the implementation of Azure solutions, including infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM templates.
- Configure and manage Azure services, such as virtual machines, storage, networking, databases, and security.
- Automate deployment and configuration processes using CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.

**Security and Compliance**:

- Implement and maintain security best practices in Azure, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with serverless computing.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with powershell, or other scripting languages.
