Surveyor

**Job Summary**:
Minsol Limited is looking for an experienced and qualified Surveyor with a minimum of 4 years of experience in mining or infrastructure projects. The Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out surveying, measurement, and marking duties for mining areas, dump yards, haul roads, and infrastructure development works, ensuring operational accuracy and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular surveys of mining areas, stockyards, overburden dumps, and haul roads as per project requirements.
- Prepare survey reports, plans, and sections using survey data and records.
- Mark out excavation boundaries, safety zones, and operational limits in coordination with site management.
- Carry out volume calculations for excavation, overburden removal, and stockpile management.
- Maintain up-to-date statutory survey records as per DGMS (Directorate General of Mines Safety) guidelines.
- Operate total stations, auto levels, GPS equipment, and other modern surveying tools efficiently.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns, plans, and records related to mining operations to management.
- Coordinate with mining engineers, site supervisors, and HEMM operators for daily survey-related work.
- Conduct joint surveys for measuring disputed areas, boundary demarcations, or claim settlements when required.
- Maintain proper documentation and safe custody of survey equipment and records.

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years of practical experience as a Surveyor in mining, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying / Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Valid Surveyor’s Competency Certificate (from DGMS) (for mining projects).
- Proficient in the use of total stations, auto levels, GPS, and survey software (AutoCAD, Surpac, etc.).
- Sound knowledge of mining safety regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
- Strong record-keeping, communication, and coordination skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in challenging site conditions.
