**Job Description for Economics / Commerce Teacher**

**Position Opening**:
Jr. Lecturer Theory Subject Commerce - Degree Section (Economics and Commerce).

and hard of hearing. Located in Sion, Mumbai and Delhi, we have influenced the lives of

350+ exceptional students through our dedicated and unconventional approach towards

deaf-education. Our 3-Dimensional Holistic Development Model integrates Bilingual

Methodology, skill development, and personality development to foster comprehensive

understanding, career readiness, and positive behavioural attitude.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for economics courses, aligned

with the IGNOU university.

2. Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate a variety of instructional strategies to

promote active participation and critical thinking.

3. Deliver quality instruction that effectively communicates complex economic

concepts.

4. Utilize a variety of assessment tools and techniques to measure student

understanding and progress, providing timely feedback to support growth and

achievement.

5. Develop a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel

valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey.

6. Integrate technology and real-world examples into lessons.

7. Stay current with developments in the field of economics / commerce and

educational best practices.

8. Maintain accurate records of academic performance, attendance and other relevant

data.

9. Generate and analyse reports to assess the effectiveness of academic programs.

**Salary**:
As per market requirements.

**Academics**:
1. M.Com/MA in Economics.

**Experience**:
1. Minimum one year of teaching experience.

**Key Competencies**:
1. Subject knowledge

2. Pedagogical skills

3. Basic MS knowledge

4. Classroom management

5. English language proficiency.

6. Knowledge of Indian Sign Language preferred.
