Ensure compliance with legal requirements as per BOCWA-1996/ FACTORY ACT
- 1948 and other central acts & states rules
- Prepare risk assessments & accordingly the SOPs for all site activities, safety

manuals & work instructions for operations for the unit.
- Make & implement EHS-action plans. Ensure compliance with EHS-Policy and

EHS Objectives..
- Define & monitor EHS policies, projects, regulations & management policies and

maintain the related documents for the same & as per IMS(Integrated Management
system).
- Preparation of annual improvement plan for the effective implementation of ISO 14001,

OHSAS 45001 & standard requirement with in organization
- Implementing the safety measures at construction sites, participating in organizing

safety awareness programs for contractor workers and ensuring their participation in
safety management through safety suggestions &committee meetings.
- To check and evaluate the effectiveness of the actions taken or proposed to be

taken to prevent personal injuries and occupational health hazards..
- Implement occupational Health and Safety Procedures in compliance with

legal obligations and company requirements.
- Monitor safety performance through internal & external audits and develop

proactive reporting system.
- Preparation of SOP (Safe Operating procedure), JSA (Job Safety Analysis) &
HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment).
- Planning to maintain H&S compliance among all employees and among sub
- contractor employees, who are in connection with the project activities.
- Permit to work (General/Height/Hot/Excavation/Confined Space)
- Training to the employees regarding Fire fighting, Personal protective equipment’s,

Mock Drill, Fire Alarm, etc.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- in Bridges or Infra: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- fire engineering and safety management (preferred)
