**Responsibilities**:

- Maternity hospital experience added advantage.
- Provide patient care according to defined care standards, policies, and procedures based on individual needs and a specific plan of care.
- Evaluate and organize patient care to ensure continuity based on patient needs
- Ensure clear and effective nurse-patient communication and patient education
- Collaborate with nursing units and other service area departments for patient-related and other requirements
- Accompany consultants/intensivists on patient care rounds
- Administer medication using correct procedures
- Ensure that patients' hygienic needs are met and that the unit is neat at all times
- Assist doctors in all procedures related to patient care and ensure post-IP issues and bedside procedures are handled efficiently
- Take responsibility for the collection of samples and sending them for investigations
- Document all relevant records as per hospital policy
- Handle all equipment in the ICU and monitor patients and patient-related emergencies
- Implement necessary steps to promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, and co-workers
- Stay knowledgeable and up-to-date about facility/department infection control, environmental, and safety policies and ensure compliance

**Requirements**:

- Nursing degree
- Post-qualification nursing experience
- Valid nursing board registration
- Ability to work in a multicultural team
- Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development activities
- Ability to maintain meticulous records
