**Position Reports to**:Operations Manager

**Basic job description**

Lead and manage Production Planning & Control Function and expertise to the overall planning function including System, policies and standards to support proper and smooth execution of all planning related activities by effectively using available resources with cost-effectiveness.

Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

Should maintain the on-time delivery of machines as per specified standards and customer requirements.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversee production planning and management activities within the organization.
- Study the inputs from Sales department along with the Customer requirements & BOM from design department.
- Develop production plan, budget and timelines according to production specifications.
- Determine resource requirements viz material, manpower etc based on plant capacity, product specifications & Production plan.
- Plan work flow and schedules for production departments based on On-Time Delivery & Minimum economical batch quantity.
- Plan work flow and schedules for production departments, including machine loading charts for components manufacturing, assembly schedules.
- Monitor production status and ensure timely delivery.
- Identify delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
- Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities.
- Notify customers /Sales department on any delays and outages.
- Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in new product development and enhancements.
- Conduct daily meetings to keep track of production schedules.
- Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Determine equipment, materials and manpower required to complete production.
- Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues to management promptly.
- Ensure effective utilization of machines, equipments and manpower.
- To effectively coordinate with Sales, Design, Production and vendors & purchase functions.
- Report the Planning performances regularly and accurately, together with other matters of importance, to the Factory Manager/Directors in prescribed MIS format.
- To assist in projects or any other tasks as given by top management.

**Competence Profile**

Education **Diploma/ B. E / B Tech Mechanical**

Experience **5 to 8 years**

Specialized knowledge
- Sound knowledge and experience in PPC function.
- Good knowledge of process developments, process flow charts.
- The ability to identify and intervene in problem areas, well-developed problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience in large no. of products planning is must.
- Strong knowledge of machine shop and ability to read engineering drawings.
- Must have very good knowledge of machining processes and assembly operations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
