**Position Title: Gents Hostel Warden**
**Department: Hostel Administration**
**Reports To: Head of Administration / Principal**

**Role Overview**

**The Gents Hostel Warden is responsible for managing all aspects of the hostel, ensuring a safe, secure, and disciplined environment for male residents. This includes overseeing daily operations, addressing student welfare, enforcing regulations, and maintaining facilities to support students’ academic and personal growth.**

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Hostel Operations Management**
- **Supervise the day-to-day operations of the gents' hostel, ensuring smooth functioning.**:

- **Maintain accurate records of resident admissions, attendance, and personal details.**:

- **Oversee and coordinate the work of support staff, including housekeeping, catering, and security personnel.**

**2. Safety and Security**
- **Implement and monitor safety protocols to safeguard residents and hostel property.**:

- **Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with safety standards.**:

- **Enforce curfew timings, visitor policies, and other security measures as outlined by the institution.**

**3. Discipline and Conduct**
- **Ensure residents adhere to hostel rules and regulations, promoting a disciplined environment.**:

- **Address misconduct or rule violations promptly, taking appropriate disciplinary action when necessary.**:

- **Foster mutual respect and a sense of responsibility among residents.**

**4. Student Welfare**
- **Serve as a mentor and counselor, providing guidance on personal and academic concerns.**:

- **Address student grievances and mediate conflicts to maintain a harmonious living environment.**:

- **Organize awareness sessions or workshops on topics relevant to male students, such as health, safety, and career development.**

**5. Facilities and Maintenance**
- **Ensure all hostel facilities, including rooms, restrooms, and common areas, are clean, well-maintained, and functional.**:

- **Coordinate with maintenance teams to address repair and service requests promptly.**:

- **Monitor utilities such as water and electricity to prevent disruptions.**

**6. Emergency Response**
- **Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies, such as medical issues or security concerns.**:

- **Liaise with parents, college authorities, and emergency services when required.**:

- **Maintain a calm and efficient approach to handling crises.**

**7. Communication and Reporting**
- **Communicate effectively with residents, parents, and institutional authorities.**:

- **Prepare and submit periodic reports on hostel activities, maintenance, and disciplinary actions.**:

- **Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive matters.**

**Qualifications and Experience**
- **Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline**:

- **Experience: Previous experience in hostel management, administration, or related roles is advantageous.**:

- **Skills: Proficiency in English and local languages, along with basic IT skills for record-keeping.**

**Work Conditions**
- **Residential role, requiring the Warden to stay on campus for 24/7 oversight.**:

- **Flexible working hours, including availability during weekends and holidays.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
