Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Social Sciences, or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience in data and analytics
- Experience with SQL database queries/analysis and writing code

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in process/project management, with the ability to navigate and influence cross-team stakeholders
- Ability to solve unstructured business problems (e.g., fraud investigations and risk management space)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with multiple cross-regional and cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with capability to process a high amount of data to drive business strategies and decisions

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ideate and manage high impact projects which increase user safety and/or improve user experience, in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders such as Engineering, Product, Legal, Policy, Sales, and other Trust and Safety teams.
- Perform and investigate fraud and abuse analysis, producing actionable insights, and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for signals, automation, workflow improvements, and operational efficiency gains. Drive solutions/projects to completion.
- Take part in the regular on-call coverage rotation to resolve sensitive issues and escalations.
- Mentor and provide guidance to team members.
