**Roles and Responsibilities**
Pre-confirm Derivatives settlements with internal and external counterparties
- Source and request for SSI setup / amend of clients
- Perform matching of statements against ledgers
- Investigate Nostro breaks where ledgers/statements are unmatched
- Trade affirmation with clients for FX, Margin FX, NDF- Payment release through SWIFT (MT103, 202COV, 202), BOJ Net and Zengin using an internal booking system
- Settlement pre-match with clients for FX, Margin FX, NDF and FX derivatives
- FX cash confirmation monitoring (MT300)
- Incoming and outgoing confirmation handling for FX cash confirmation
- Incoming and outgoing confirmation handling for derivative products
- Cancel & Amendment monitoring
- FOBO reconciliation
- Escalate whenever exceptions are found
- Open account quickly with control
- What were looking for:
- Degree Educated with experience in an OTC Derivatives environment. Extensive knowledge of derivative products within remit and the processes in the Settlements and/or confirmations area.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end processes in the Confirmations and/or Settlements area
- Experience gained in High Volume House and client service environment.
- Willingness to take on responsibility
- Skills that will help you in the role:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in order to manage the relationship with Premier clients, fluent in English.
- Highly numerate with analytical problem solving ability.
- Results Driven and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Self Starter / Ambitious.
- Confidence to deal with both external and internal clients.
