Food Technologist

**Job Summary**
APKA Industries is starting a new venture into Food Processing and are setting up its first unit in Karur, Tamilnadu. For this, we are looking for a fresh, young and dynamic Food Technologist / Quality Executive.

**Food** **Technologist** will be responsible for the safe and efficient development, modification and manufacture of our food products and processes. He/she will have to plan the ingredients, nutritional value, recipes and manage their production on a large scale.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
Specific responsibilities may include:

- generating new product ideas and recipes
- modifying and improving existing recipes
- designing processes and machinery for the production of recipes on a large scale
- liaising with marketing staff
- ensuring that strict hygiene food safety standards are met
- identifying and choosing products from suppliers
- monitoring the use of additives
- testing and examining samples
- evaluate the nutritional value of the ingredients
- audit suppliers or manage internal audits
- run trials of new products - either alongside or together with product development
- deal with any customer complaint investigations or product issues
- compile, check and approve product specifications and labelling
- writing reports.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
