**Position**: Data Scientist

**Experience**: 5+ years

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models, and extracting actionable insights to drive business decisions. You will collaborate with various teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and contribute to the advancement of our data strategy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop predictive models using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and design data-driven solutions.
- Extract, clean, and preprocess data from multiple sources to build high-quality datasets.
- Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Explore and experiment with new data sources and analytical techniques.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis.
- Stay current with industry trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling principles, demonstrated through successful implementation of data solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL), showcasing the ability to extract, transform, and analyze data effectively.
- Hands-on experience with popular business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, and a history of creating interactive and insightful dashboards.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices, with a demonstrated ability to create compelling and informative visualizations that aid decision-making.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS) is a plus, indicating the ability to leverage statistical methods for deeper data insights.
- Strong analytical mindset, with a track record of dissecting complex problems and deriving actionable insights from data.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions, aligning data analysis with organizational objectives.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively across various levels within the organization. Capable of transforming data findings into clear presentations for senior leaders.
- Good understanding of A/B testing methodologies and practices, showcasing experience in controlled experimentation.
- Experience and understanding of search-related KPIs and instrumentation practices, demonstrating familiarity with metrics relevant to search functionality and user experience.
- Experience with big data techniques (Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark) and querying tools (such as Hive, Pig, Spark), indicating exposure to large-scale data processing and analytics.
