**Job Summary**:

- The position available is for an Associate to cover the Capital Goods sector within the India Equity Research team, based in Mumbai.

**Responsibilities**
- Working along with Lead Capital Goods analyst.
- Reviewing and analyzing research material viz., Annual Reports, Company Releases and Industry Data for the Capital Goods sector.
- Gathering market information through interactions and meetings with company managements.
- Preparation of financial and valuation models on the companies under coverage / intending to bring under future coverage.
- Identifying Investment opportunities in the Capital Goods sector.
- Disseminate key points and ideas to the sales team during the morning meetings and during the market hours.
- Preparation of Initiating Coverage backed up with quarterly result reviews and event updates.
- Making presentations for the Institutional Clients.
- Facilitating meetings for Institutional clients with the company management.
- Arranging Plant and facility visits for Institutional clients.
- Updating the Fund Managers and Buy side Analyst with the recent updates on the companies under coverage.

**Education**
- CA or MBA
- A CFA - would be an advantage.

**Experience**
- 3 - 5 years experience in equity research, preferably have covered the Capital Goods sector.

**Skills**
- Strong modelling and database skills are essential
- Demonstrated ability to write high quality, evidence-based projects or reports
- An inquisitive nature and the ability to think logically whilst expressing your views in a clear and engaging manner
- Willingness to promote your ideas and work to a variety of stakeholders
- Creative Thinking: Ability to generate new ideas and possibilities, and to see business -opportunities from a novel perspective
- Consulting Skills: Ability to provide business-related added value, including innovative approaches and new or improved solutions
- Flexibility: The capacity to adapt your approach in light of shifting priorities or changing conditions
