**JOB TITLE**: DTP and Printout Operator

**JOB LOCATION**: Tirunalveli, Tamil Nadu

**POSITION DETAILS**

**JOB PURPOSE**:
A **DTP (Desktop Publishing) and Printout Operator** plays a crucial role in an educational institution by creating and producing various printed materials such as textbooks, workbooks, brochures, posters, and other educational resources. They are responsible for designing, formatting, and printing these materials to ensure high-quality output.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Designing and Formatting**:

- Use desktop publishing software to create and format educational materials.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and produce visually appealing and effective designs.

**Layout and Typesetting**:

- Arrange text, images, and graphics in a well-organized and visually appealing manner.
- Ensure proper alignment, font styles, sizes, and consistent formatting throughout the materials.

**Printing and Production**:

- Manage the printing and production process for approved designs.
- Operate printing equipment such as printers, plotters, and copiers, adjusting settings for optimal quality.
- Maintain and stock printing materials like paper, ink, and toner.

**Quality Control**:

- Conduct quality checks to ensure printed materials meet required standards.
- Examine color accuracy, sharpness, and overall print quality to deliver high-quality outputs.

**Editing and Proofreading**:

- Check the accuracy of content, proofread for errors, and make necessary corrections before finalizing designs.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality of the materials.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- **Education**: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required for this position.
- **Experience**: Relevant experience in desktop publishing and print operations is highly preferred.

**Required Skills**:
**Technical Proficiency**:

- Proficiency in desktop publishing software.
- Familiarity with printing equipment and technologies.
- Proficient knowledge in **Tamil** and **English typing** for content formatting.

**Communication and Collaboration**:

- Strong communication skills to understand and meet stakeholder requirements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with content creators, teachers, and administrators.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality output in both design and print.

**SALARY**: ₹12,000 - ₹17,500 per month
