A Continental Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes from diverse European cuisines, ensuring high quality and consistency. They may also be involved in menu planning, recipe development, kitchen management, and staff training. Key Responsibilities:
- **Food Preparation and Cooking**:Preparing and cooking a wide range of continental dishes, including French, Italian, Spanish, and Mediterranean cuisine, using fresh ingredients and traditional cooking methods.
- **Menu Development**:Collaborating with the executive chef to create seasonal menus, specials, and new dishes.
- **Quality Control**:Ensuring dishes are prepared according to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
- **Kitchen Management**:Overseeing kitchen operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- **Food Safety**:Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- **Staff Supervision and Training**:Supervising junior chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance on continental cooking techniques and best practices.
- **Cost Control**:Monitoring stock levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, coordinating with the purchasing team for replenishment.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,665.74 per month
