Finishing Incharge

Garment Finishing Incharge to involve in all monitoring the finishing related processes in order to meet on-time shipments. Hiring and keeping required manpower for all activities performed in the finishing section.

Job Responsibilities:

- Separate zones for incoming and outgoing production. To read and follow order-wise instructions & specifications.
- Makes plan & schedule for the jobs assigned to him.
- 100% Visual final check is done.
- Spec inspection of critical measurement stations in place and operational. Ensure 100% of the merchandise.
- AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) and measurement spec done hourly and recorded. Corrective action plan available and implemented.
- Random safety testing like buttons and small parts security, done and recorded.
- All garments are passed through the metal detector, as a standard.
- Makes liaison with Sewing Section & Merchandizing Department.
- Keeps liaison with sub-Contract Factories
- Have close Contract with Production Manager and Factory Manager.
- Packing list.
- Receive the accessories from Store for Packing.
- Review 3rd party inspection reports to see pass/fail ratio and see if the co
- relation matches the factory’s findings.
- Auditor’ review of finished goods, is satisfactory and matches customer requirement, based of comparison with approved sample.
- Finishing room staff is proud to display their SOPs and end product. Ask for suggestions if any.
- Able to follow up shipment plan and achieve set packing targets, quick balancing finishing lines as and when required, and analysing individual worker performance.
- Optimize quality manpower allocation.
- Monitor and control quality system.
- Improve the knowledge and skill of the team.
- Demonstration of buyer standard setting on the machine.
- Inspects machinery to detect malfunction and directs repair or replacement parts.
- Update information on key operational.
- Must be following up day to day target work.
- Should have to perform other Finishing related duties and responsibilities.
