**Job Title: Education Counselor**

**Job Summary**:
The Education Counselor provides guidance and support to students, helping them navigate their academic, personal, and career goals. The role involves assessing students' needs, offering personalized advice, and developing strategies to help them succeed in their educational pursuits.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Academic Advising**:

- Evaluate students' academic performance and progress.
- Assist students in setting academic goals and developing study plans.
- Provide advice on course selection, academic programs, and educational pathways.
- **Career Counseling**:

- Help students explore career options and understand the educational requirements for various professions.
- Facilitate career assessments and interpret results to guide career planning.
- Organize workshops and seminars on career development and job search strategies.
- **Personal Support**:

- Offer support and counseling for personal issues affecting students' academic performance and well-being.
- Provide crisis intervention and refer students to mental health resources if needed.
- **College and University Guidance**:

- Provide information on financial aid, scholarships, and other funding opportunities.
- Organize college fairs, information sessions, and campus visits.
- **Parent and Teacher Collaboration**:

- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding students' academic progress and needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students' educational and emotional development.
- **Record Keeping and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and confidential records of students’ academic progress, counseling sessions, and career plans.
- Prepare reports and presentations on student outcomes and program effectiveness.
- **Program Development**:

- Develop and implement counseling programs and workshops that address student needs.
- Stay updated on educational trends and best practices in counseling.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- **Certification**: Valid counseling certification or licensure as required by the state or country.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in educational counseling, academic advising, or a related field is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to empathize and build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in using counseling software and educational tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹11,274.11 - ₹40,027.53 per month
