**Job Summary**:
The Restaurant Cashier is responsible for handling all customer transactions accurately, efficiently, and with a friendly demeanor. This includes processing payments, issuing receipts, maintaining the cash register, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a smooth guest experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly and assist with order placement when needed.
- Accurately process cash, credit card, and digital payments using the POS system.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change as necessary.
- Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the start and end of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station.
- Answer customer questions about the menu, pricing, and promotions.
- Collaborate with service and kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Handle customer complaints or direct them to the manager for resolution.
- Monitor and restock front counter supplies (e.g. napkins, takeaway bags).
- Follow all safety, security, and cash-handling procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in cashiering or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
