**Machining Operations**:

- Plan and coordinate machining activities, including turning, milling, boring, and grinding operations.
- Ensure optimal use of CNC, VMC and manual machines, such as lathes, mills, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).
- Monitor production schedules to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining high quality.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and guide machinists, operators, and technicians in the machine shop.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to improve team skills and productivity.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address team concerns proactively.
- **Equipment Maintenance and Optimization**:

- Coordinate with the maintenance team for routine and preventive maintenance of machining equipment.
- Ensure that machines are calibrated and functioning efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Identify opportunities to improve tooling, fixtures, and machining processes.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain records of machine utilization, production metrics, and downtime.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports to the Production Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- **Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a machine shop
- Hands-on experience with CNC machines, tooling, and machining processes.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Familiarity with machining software (e.g., CAD/CAM systems).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
