**About this role**

The key purpose of the Software engineering Professional role is to take ownership of a part of a GCP/Analytics solutions, including design, implementation, unit, feasibility testing and component testing, and preparation for solution deployment using Qlik. The Software engineering Professional will work independently with some guidance when needed and can contribute to pairing with other team members

**You'll have the following responsibilities**
- Technical Lead the Analytics and Insights team
- Collaborating with Product Owner, Developers, Tester, Engineering Manager and Cloud Engineer
- Deliver and own self-serve dashboards (in Qlik Sense) that provide a deep understanding of our products, services and operations within BT Digital
- Ensure good standards, working practices and governance is in place to provide a consistent approach to reporting/dashboard delivery
- Leads on insights projects to deliver new analysis, from requirements capture, to designing the content and output, to working with developers and data managers in getting the data to analyse and build the output
- Work closely with the stakeholders and product owners to clearly define the business needs and convert into technical requirements for the data and solution architects
- Analyses data from multiple sources where needed to create a good understanding of the specific business oportunities and challenges
- Supports junior members of the team and analyst community from a technical standpoint to ensure we are constantly upskilling
- Focuses on process improvement and technology automation to improve our global customers’ experience and operational efficiency, driving deeper extensive use insight and analysis

**You'll have the following skills & experience**
- Previous experience as Visualisation Developer 5+ yrs exp - Must have
- Technical skills -Advanced Dashboarding and Storytelling skills, Expert Knowledge of any major reporting tool (preferably Qlik)
- Must have
- Data manipulation - Strong knowledge of querying and manipulating data using Big Query, SQL, or Python
- Architecture - Knowledge of data modelling techniques is an advantage
- Experience with cloud environments like GCP, AWS, Azure is an advantage
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Very Good communication skills.
- High-level project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science/ Mtech /ME/MCA
