Role Summary/Purpose:
Primary job responsibilities will include supervision of the manufacturing activities. Assist Sudip in other areas of operation e.g. EHS, Quality, RDSO related matters. Maintenance and upkeep of documents related to production, quality, EHS, ISO etc. Co-ordinate with our technology providers & our JV partner.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Legatrix system for Wabtec Taxmaco JV
- Planning of daily/weekly production related activities & execution of the same
- Work as safety champion & implement good safety practices.
- Support Sr Manager - Operations in his other routine activities and preparation of daily MIS
- Over a period handle all activities related regular RDSO inspection under the guidance of Sr Manager - Operations
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have a Mechanical Engineering Degree/Diploma from a recognized college/institution
- Must be within 30 years of age
- Having proper verbal & written communication skills in English and having a pleasing personality with a positive attitude
- Must be an excellent team player with an urge to learn and grow
- Having a minimum experience of 6-7 years in a reputed Light Engineering company
- Having basic knowledge of various manufacturing processes e.g. Casting, Forging, Welding, different machining processes etc.
- Having basic knowledge of modern manufacturing practices and quality management systems
- Knowledge of EHS practices, statutory compliances related factory and requirements desirable
- Should be proficient with computers
- Sound knowledge of Power Point desirable
