Job Title: Company Secretary & Compliance Officer
Experience: 10+ years
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the company
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards
- Provide guidance on company secretarial practices, governance, and risk management
- Prepare and file necessary documents with regulatory authorities
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies, auditors, and legal advisors
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments
- Advise the Board of Directors on governance matters
- Facilitate communication between the Board, management, and stakeholders
**Requirements**:
- Postgraduate degree in Law, Commerce, or related field
- Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
- At least 10 years of experience as a Company Secretary and Compliance Officer
- Experience in taking a private limited company public
- Strong knowledge of company laws, SEBI regulations, and listing agreements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in compliance, risk management, or governance
- Experience in a listed company or a company with similar operations
- Strong network with regulatory authorities, auditors, and legal advisors
