Personal Driver Job Description

**Position Title**: Personal Driver

**Department**: Private Transportation

**Reports To**: Employer/Household Manager

**Position Overview**: The Personal Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting the employer and/or their family members to various destinations. This includes maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition, ensuring punctuality, and providing a professional and courteous service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Driving and Transport**:

- Safely drive the employer and/or their family members to and from various destinations including work, appointments, meetings, and social events.
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Plan routes to avoid traffic congestion and ensure timely arrival at destinations.
- **Vehicle Maintenance**:

- Regularly clean and maintain the vehicle(s) to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
- Keep the vehicle(s) fueled and ready for use at all times.
- **Scheduling and Planning**:

- Coordinate with the employer or their assistant to understand the daily schedule and transportation needs.
- Ensure flexibility to accommodate last-minute changes or requests.
- Plan and manage time efficiently to adhere to schedules.
- **Safety and Security**:

- Ensure the safety and security of the employer and their family members during transportation.
- Remain vigilant and aware of surroundings to anticipate and avoid potential hazards.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times regarding the employer’s personal and professional matters.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Keep detailed records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and fuel expenses.
- Assist with any other tasks or errands as requested by the employer, which may include handling deliveries, running errands, or other personal assistant duties.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience as a personal or professional driver preferred.
- **License**: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle maintenance.
- **Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to sit for long periods.
- Good vision and hearing.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Professional and courteous demeanor.
- Reliable and punctual.
- High level of integrity and discretion.

**Working Conditions**:

- Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Travel may be required, both locally and potentially long distances.

**Compensation**: Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits may include health insurance, paid time off, and other perks as agreed upon.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
