**Project Role **:Database Administrator
- **Project Role Description **:Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

- **Job Requirements**:
1. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Assists with regular maintenance of the databases including backups, restores, upgrades, archiving, migrations and review of logs for errors or potential problems
- Install, configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security
- Regularly review storage free space and perform tasks to manage usage
- Work closely with development teams on activities
- Help define and implement best practices for support and maintenance of various NoSQL
- technologies.
- Provide support for NoSQL database platforms at the studio.
- Work closely with R&D teams to effect optimum data models and scalable designs in the
- NoSQL space.
- Maintain uptime, consistency, scalability and performance while meeting business needs
- and working effectively with the Database Administration team.
- Provide daily technical administration and support, including change management requests,
- monitoring, performance tuning, backup and recovery.
- Knowledge of other NoSQL platforms and Cloud implementations a plus.
- Working knowledge of Data Modelling with NoSQL technologies.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages, Bash, ksh, perl etc.
