**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of **pure vegetarian Indian curries** (North and South Indian styles) following standardized recipes.
- Operate the **tandoor oven** to prepare breads like naan, roti, kulcha, and tandoori vegetarian items such as paneer tikka, veg seekh kebab, and other grilled delicacies.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in maintaining mise-en-place and prepping ingredients (cutting, marinating, grinding masalas).
- Ensure food is cooked and presented according to quality and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation and kitchen tools.
- Follow food safety guidelines and standard operating procedures strictly.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or spoilage promptly.
- Minimize wastage and contribute to cost-effective kitchen operations.
- Support junior kitchen staff and help maintain smooth kitchen workflow.

**Requirements**:

- 2-4 years of experience in Indian curry and tandoor preparation, preferably in vegetarian kitchens.
- Knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and tandoor operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Physically fit to work in a hot kitchen environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Culinary diploma or certificate in hotel management or culinary arts (preferred).
- Experience in multi-cuisine or pure vegetarian restaurants is an advantage.

**Work Schedule**:

- Rotational shifts including lunch and dinner service.
- Availability on weekends and public holidays.
