As an AutoCAD Designer at MS Associates, you will play a crucial role in translating architectural concepts and ideas into detailed drawings. You will collaborate closely with our architects, engineers, and clients to create accurate and visually appealing designs. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be vital in producing architectural plans, elevations, sections, and construction details that align with project requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Drafting and Design:Create accurate and detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD software.
Develop 2D floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
Ensure drawings adhere to architectural standards and local building codes.
Incorporate feedback and make revisions to drawings as required.

Project Coordination:Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
Ensure effective communication and coordination within the design team.
Assist in preparing design presentations and participate in client meetings as necessary.
Provide support in reviewing and coordinating design changes throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Skills:Proficient in AutoCAD software for 2D drafting and design.
Familiarity with architectural standards, building codes, and construction techniques.
Strong understanding of materials, dimensions, and technical drawing principles.
Ability to interpret and incorporate design briefs and specifications into drawings.

Creativity and Attention to Detail:Demonstrate a keen eye for aesthetics and the ability to create visually appealing designs.
Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in drawings.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in architectural design software.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Designer in an architectural firm or similar environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous architectural design work.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
